The Big Kahuna

I will always remember this summer as the one in which I caught my Big Kahuna XD yes, maybe a little bit exaggerated but it's the name I've decided to call my first big fish with: a 5,5 kg estimated  bluefish.
It was an early august's morning, I woke up before dawn. Me and a friend had decided to try a new spot. When we got there the first lights of dawn were lighting up the morning, the sky was clear and the high tide was planned at 10.30 am. As soon as we arrived there we immediately notice it was a good morning to fish: we could clearly notice baitfish breaking the surface...we supposed it was mullets and we could even feel them at the other side of the line hitting our lures while they were swimming into a big "mangianza".
The first attack came at about 9.00 am: a quick fight...I lost it after few seconds. A great and really strong emotion I felt again half an hour later...another big bluefish, maybe a little bit bigger than the previous one: my Big Kahuna.

Too big for me to kill it...I released it...

Troppo grande perchè potessi ucciderlo...l'ho rilasciato...
